The scientific research department “National education,
pedagogical teachings of thinkers and Jadids” of the National Institute of
Pedagogy and character education named after Kori Niyazi carries out
fundamental, scientific-practical and innovative research in the field of
studying and implementing the centuries-old teachings of thinkers and Jadids.
The purpose of the department is to comprehensively study the centuries-old teachings
of thinkers and Jadids on national education, the thousand-year practical
educational experience of the Uzbek people, and to develop tactics and
strategies for their implementation in school education practice.
Strategies for modernizing the organization and management of educational processes in general secondary schools, introducing modern management technologies, and providing scientific and pedagogical support will be developed and put into practice.
Creating an inclusive environment in educational
institutions - providing favorable and equal opportunities for children with
disabilities, special needs, and limited abilities.
Adapting
curricula - developing individual educational plans tailored to the abilities
and capabilities of children with special needs.
Supporting
teachers - providing methodological guidance on inclusive education, organizing
training sessions and seminars for educators.
Fostering
a positive attitude in society - explaining the essence of inclusive education,
developing a friendly environment between children without disabilities and
those with limited abilities.
Monitoring
and control - tracking the effectiveness of inclusive education, analyzing
results, and developing measures for improvement.
Starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, department works on gradually implementing of globally recognized Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) methodologies in general secondary educational institutions on an experimental basis.
Main tasks of the department:
The Department operates in accordance
with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 232
dated June 21, 2024, "On the Establishment of the Kori Niyozi National
Institute of Educational Pedagogy."
Digital pedagogical support for the
education and upbringing of youth:
The department's activities are aimed
at developing and implementing scientific and educational-methodological
materials focused on the methodological support of preschool education, as well
as enriching educational processes in all school subjects through digital
content and technologies.
• development of methodologies for
creating podcast scenarios and video content dedicated to youth education based
on the institute's methodological recommendations;
• development of methods for
improving the quality and effectiveness of upbringing and education by
integrating them digitally within a unified goal;
• placement of modern educational
materials, news, and digital content related to youth education on the
"milliytarbiya.uz" electronic platform and its mobile version, as
well as their regular updating;
The “Mahalla–Family–School Cooperation” Research Department of the National Institute of Pedagogy and character education named after Kori Niyoziy, in the course of scientifically studying the national educational processes carried out in mahallas, families, and schools, develops scientifically grounded strategies for restoring the national educational resources of the mahalla and increasing parents’ responsibility for child upbringing. At the same time, it organizes scientific-theoretical, methodological, and analytical research aimed at improving the cooperation between mahalla, family, and school. In addition, the department carries out organizational work to develop cooperation between teachers, mahallas, parents, and the school education process in order to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the national educational process within the system of continuous education, as well as to improve it in accordance with the requirements of international programs.
The department compares the results of theoretical and methodological research conducted in developed countries worldwide, as well as reforms implemented in the field of education for students in general secondary educational institutions, and their outcomes. It develops scientific and methodological complexes, resources, books, manuals, and digital content for adapting and applying the most effective methods and technologies from global experience to the conditions of Uzbekistan.
Functions
1. Organization of scientific and methodological activities
-Conducting scientific research on parental education;
-Studying and analyzing students' educational
development.
2. Development of methodological support
-Creating
methodological manuals, recommendations, and programs for parents,
-Preparing
thematic scenarios and lectures for "Parents' University" sessions.
3. Development of educational cooperation
-Developing
mechanisms to strengthen cooperation among schools, families, and communities,
-Conducting
interactive seminars, trainings, and masterclasses with parents.
4. Monitoring and analytical work
-Studying the effectiveness of "Parents'
University" activities,
-Analyzing changes in parents' pedagogical culture,
-Conducting monitoring of educational processes and
preparing reports.
The Department of
"Scientific and Scientific Research for the Training of Scientific and
Pedagogical Personnel" coordinates the activities of basic doctoral
studies (PhD), doctoral studies (DSc) and independent researchers. Approves the
topics of dissertations, evaluates their scientific and practical significance,
and establishes a system of scientific supervision and scientific consulting. Organizes the processes of preparing dissertations for
defense.
